Geochemical analysis of one set of gas samples was undertaken at Scottish Universities Environmental Research Centre (SUERC) and consisted of bulk concentration and δ13CCH4 and δD stable isotope analyses. One set of groundwater samples were analysed for δ13CCH4 values at the University of Calgary isotope lab, with a full set of groundwater and gas samples analysed for major and noble gas compositions at the Ohio State University WHEEL laboratory.
