Statement

This dataset is derived from six GIS products including GeoSure soluble rocks, landslide hazards, compressible ground, collapsible ground, swelling clays and running sands. These are products in their own right, and are derived from the 1:50000 scale Digital Geological Map (DiGMap-50) and other data. DiGMap-50 is a product of geological maps surveyed since 1835. To create the Affects of leakage on ground stability Map, all the above datasets were given new attributes and some of the original attributes were combined. The summary map was created by combining data from all of the individual datasets. The dataset has been checked and approved by BGS.
