Marine Scotland (MSO) Multibeam Survey 2011/9_MS: Isle of Lewis (26/Aug/2011 to 08/Sep/2011)
This marine multibeam survey took place in August/September 2011 in the area of Lewis on board the Northern Lighthouse Board vessel NLV Pole Star. The survey was carried out by the British Geological Survey (BGS) on behalf of Marine Scotland. Sea floor bathymetry data were collected using a Kongsberg EM3002D multibeam system. These data are archived by BGS and are also available on Marine Scotland Interactive (MSI) - http://www.gov.scot/Topics/marine/science/MSInteractive/Themes/Renewables/Data. Data are checked and loaded to the BGS Coastal and Marine data management system following BGS marine data management procedures.
