British Geological Survey (BGS) Sampling Survey 1983/2: Regional Mapping: Northern & Central North Sea; English Channel (14/Apr/1983 to 23/Aug/1983)

This BGS regional marine sampling survey (comprised of eight legs) took place from April to August 1983 in Northern & Central North Sea and English Channel on board the MV Whitethorn. Seabed samples and cores were collected using Shipek grab, Gravity corer, Vibrocorer and Rockdrill. These data are archived by BGS. Technical details of the survey are contained in BGS Internal Report WB/83/7-9, 11, 18, 22, 23.
