Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Geophysical and Sampling Survey 2002/KJ/2: SEA4: Faeroe-Shetland Channel: (01/Jul/2002 to 22/Aug/2002)
This sampling and geophysical survey has been carried out by, contractors for Department of Trade and industry Strategic Environmental Assessment project (SEA4), the survey took place from July to August 2002 in the Faeroe-Shetland Channel on board the RV Kommandor Jack. The purpose was to collect data as part of an Environmental Assessment project. Sea floor data were collected using EM120 multibeam and backscatter data. Sample data were collected using Megacorer, box corer, gravity corer and Day grab. These data were recorded digitally and are archived by BGS. Technical details of the survey are contained in SEAS reports, see the Offshore GeoIndex SEA layers and the SEA Portal https://www.bgs.ac.uk/data/sea/app/search.
