PalaeoSaurus represents the digital version of the Palaeo Registers, which in some cases, were derived from earlier documents. New data being added minute by minute by BGS staff. Spreadsheet data, prepared in part by volunteers, is added on an irregular basis. Museum Collection: Data input started January 2001 at the base of the Cambrian. Pleistocene not scheduled until ca. 2008. Survey Collection: Largely incomplete prior to 1980. Most recent material has National Grid Reference. Older material normally located by bearings and distances from one or more specified points.
