The start date given is the point the scanning process was suitably refined, there are older test scans. Additional information should be sought from Gisela Ager, Remote sensing. These images are being catalogued and the metadata will be available on the GDI soon.

Photographs are scanned and georeferenced to the local national grid. A digital stereomodel is produced for 3D analysis on a photogrammetry workstation. Orthophotos and DTMs can be produced on request
