MODFLOW is a 3D code that solves the finite-difference method and includes modules to simulate steady-state or transient groundwater flow in confined/unconfined aquifers (Harbaugh, 2005). A steady-state simulation has been conducted to set up initial conditions, as compared with field data. The transient simulation covers an eight year period from 2010 to November 2017.
