Field sampling of sediments; collection of samples for diatom analysis (monolith/box samples of the top 5 cm of marsh sediment) from transects across estuarine marshes; observations of tide levels; measurements of the vertical extent of mortality of coralline algae from the coastline of Isla Quilan.
