(2019). Melt inclusions were analysed at varying spot sizes depending on the diameter of the inclusion. The surface of melt inclusions were preablated (3 laser shots) prior to analysis. Backgrounds were measured for 30 seconds prior to each analysis, followed by 20 seconds of signal and 50 seconds of washout. NIST-SRM 612 was used for external calibration of trace element data.
